Hi everyone! I'm planning on being in D.C. with some friends (None of them Kayak) in April,...possibly April 3rd - 5th/6th/7th. I was wondering if there's anyone out there that could show me down some Class III/III+ sections on the Potomac around that time??? I would prefer to do a run on that Saturday, but might be able to do a run on Sunday if no one is available Saturday.
I'm a pretty solid class III/III+ boater, with a solid roll; C to C, and also the Sweep, I also have strong off side rolls too. Besides Westwater, I really haven't gone over any real significant drops or waterfalls. I'd be willing to learn though!
If you could respond fairly quick, it would be greatly appreciated, as we are trying to finalize the dates and getting plane tickets, and lodging.
