KayakMind

Think Whitewater.

Here's a quick tutorial on how to embed videos from YouTube, Google Video, etc., into KayakMind.

Step one, get the code You need to copy the embed code that comes with video. Highlighted and copy it or use the "get embed code" button to copy it. Videos uploaded to the KayakMind gallery also have embed code (see the right arrow below) so they can be added to blog posts or other websites.

Step two: Embed video in KayakMind Now that you've copied the code, you can paste it into blog posts, use it to upload the video to your KayakMind video gallery, or use it in forum posts and comments. * To add a video to your video gallery, go to the Video page on KayakMind (follow the link on the main menu.) On the left side click on "add your own video." On the add-video page, click on the "add video" link below the YouTube and Google icons.

Then just paste in the embed code you copied before. When you save it will take you to a screen where you can add a title, locations and other details about the video.

To past a video into a blog or forum post you paste the embed video directly into the post. You can start a new blog post by clicking on the "Add blog post" link at the top of your personal page.

That's it, pretty simple. One final suggestion: add some space between videos and text that might surround them by hitting the "enter" key before and after you paste the embed code in. This makes it less likely that text will get wrapped around the video and makes it look "neater." Happy embedding!
