Hi Alan,

Keep me in mind for referrals in the MD/DC area. I will do the same for you in Charleston. If you're ever up to the Potomac be sure to send me a note ahead of time. I'd enjoy showing you around our local river and watering holes.

Hi Jeremy,

Litchfield is about an hour or so north of me and I have not surfed up there. If you have surfed at the White Water centre you should be fine on the waves down here. They are generally small. The water is very salty so make sure you wash your gear out. Whether It is worth bringing your gear, if you don't there will be surf and if you do there won't be any surf, that sjust the way it works.
I would bring your gear, if for the only reason that paddling in wind chop and small surf can teach you and improve your balance.
The water is warm now, so you will just need PFD and deck etc.
The photos of me on the sea is about what you should expect.

If you need any more information let me know.

I will be going to Lichtfield. A little south from hiltin head. I have never surfed ocean waves, but have surfed some big waves at the White Water center here near Charlotte. I have been getting serious about paddling for about 4 months. I can roll, inder, surf, and am very comfertable underwater. For some reason, I am not able to email you back. Thanks! Jeremy
