Get a pickup truck and a good tent. Live the life for a year and then make a choice. Or just pick a city in the Southeast we got it all playboating, creeking ( however once you hit the Green you will sell your playboat) and sweet tea.
I received my first kayak at age 8 and since then i have not thought about much else. I am an ACA certified kayak instructor. I spend most of my time running anything with water in the South East.
Paddling:
River Running, Creeking

For Creeking my Fluid Solo is the best. For any the else I like a boat over 10ft long. How ever I do love my black 7 O.
Other Activities:
What eles is beside kayaking. O ya watching kayaking, talking about kayaking and dreaming about it raining again so I can go kayaking some more.

Good Things:
Rain and kayaks over 10 feet And the people that paddle them.
Hateful Things:
Trout Unlimited and anyone that supports the boating ban on section 00. No really hope they build a medical insenerator up wind of your home!
ok seriously...where is the footie of the first D? You can't pull a stunt like that and not have a record of the event. I'm starting the think that it never happened!!!
Well, I hurt like hell and had to get off the river after broken nose because I could not do much with my right leg. I guess you could say that I am a mess. The portion I accomplished went well I guess. I just don't have a bomb proof roll which is mandatory. I never want to swim in that river again. Round two is forth coming but I have to work on my roll some more I guess. I know that I can do it but my confidence level is shot right now. Humbled by the river gods. Bright spot on the day was Kate, nice lady, good paddler. Too bad I am not 10+ years younger. Anthow thanks for asking how it went.... later on
