Got my first kayak from my dad when I was 5 and it was all downhill from there. Lived my whole life in the Midwest, and surprising to most we have some great whitewater here. The Springs are good with the Saint Francis an hour and a half out my door. Come Summer and it's time to road trip.

Already got my daughter Ella (2 yo) her first kayak, although it'll be awhile until the wife lets me drag her out on the river in it. :-) We have plenty of fun with it though, whether in the class IV living room or taking it to the local pool.
