These last few weeks have sure flown by. I am paddling every weekend Friday and Saturday with the Idaho River Kids group and recently we have been training heavily to get as much freestyle in as we can before we head down to the Reno River Festival this Thursday.

Some of us have already been down the North Fork of the Payette, others the South Fork, and the rest down the Main this year. We are truly a diverse group of kids. We all loving paddling and we all love Jackson boats for some reason. Recently we have been surfing the Trimax wave on the Main Payette. It is a HUGE wave that almost anybody can do something on. Last week we had a clinic with Devon Barker getting us ready for Reno. We all plan to compete in the Freestyle, Boatercross, and Downriver Race at Reno so she was getting ready for what to expect because for most of us this will be our first time in a real competition.
